Finding Full-Text Electronic Articles

While Lexis and Westlaw carry many full-text journal articles, what happens if you need a pdf format that you can use to verify a citation for law review? Or your professor wants articles to carry the original pagination? The Westminster Law Library subscribes to many databases other than Westlaw and Lexis that include full-text versions of law and non-law journals. While the most popular database for pdf versions of law reviews is HeinOnline, we carry many other databases that might include those hard to locate journals, especially if it comes from a field outside of law.

We have created a resource called E-Journals that allows you to search for a particular journal title and that links to the databases and lists coverage dates. This can save you a lot of time and the effort needed to search each database individually for an item. The E-Journals link is located on the left side of the Library’s website under Research.
